This project was started from my passion for mental health and advocacy. The goal of this project was to create a brand that specifically educates and involves individuals with their own mental health in an interactive and accessible format.
Nearly 1 in 5 adults in the US are diagnosed with a mental health disorder but there is still a huge stigma surrounding talking about your mental health or having poor mental health. The design decisions I made were to directly combat that; including a warm color palette with heart symbology. The overall message of the brand is to have compassion for one another and be a friend to yourself. In choosing texture, I used inkblot perception tests combined with the brand colors to combine the written aspect of the brand and the psychological part of the brand.
